Workshop Launch: Designing Mongolia’s Policy Evaluation

The Mongolian Evaluation Association (MEA) is proud to support the first day of DEval-Institute-led workshop for government monitoring and evaluation officers, focused on the design phase of the policy evaluation under Parliament Resolution No. 36: On Certain Measures to Ensure Food Supply and Safety. Special thanks to Sabine M. Palmreuther and Dirk Hoffmann, evaluators of DEval-Institute for their valuable training.

The workshop agenda included:
✅ Setting the foundation for evaluation – objectives, purpose, and use
✅ Country-led evaluation with an SDG focus
✅ Participatory stakeholder mapping to identify competencies and engagement strategies

This workshop aligns with the hashtag #EvalTorch agenda, promoting capacity building, knowledge sharing, and collaborative evaluation practices. MEA remains committed to supporting evidence-based policymaking and sustainable development in Mongolia.
