Training of Trainers (ToT) on Evaluation Management

 

Training of Trainers (ToT) on Evaluation Management will be organised by Mongolian Evaluation Association in collaboration with DEval, within the scope of the MEA–DEval MoU, and generously supported by DEval.

The main purpose of this Training of Trainers is to equip 20 future trainers from MEA with teaching and facilitation skills to deliver MEA’s upcoming ‘Evaluation Management’ training programme.

Specific objectives:

-Jointly develop MEA’s ‘Evaluation Management’ training programme

- Gain theoretical input on effective teaching and learning methods

- Practise and apply interactive teaching techniques

What we expect from participants:

- Active engagement in group exercises and role modelling

- Contribution to designing and refining the training programme

- Commitment to serve as MEA trainers on ‘Evaluation Management’ for future requests from government, international organisations, the private sector, and individuals

Application criteria:

- Experience in conducting or managing evaluations

- Intermediate or higher knowledge of evaluation methods

- Intermediate or higher English proficiency (training is fully in English)

- Commitment to participate in person for the full 3 days

- Willingness to serve as a trainer after the Training of Trainers

Note: This Training of Trainers is not a training on evaluation methods — it focuses on how to teach evaluation management effectively.

The Mongolian Evaluation Association (MEA) will rally the #EvalTorch during the Training of Trainers (ToT) on Evaluation Management as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen evaluation capacity in Mongolia. The ToT will prepare 20 future trainers to deliver future MEA trainings, contributing to peer learning, professional development, and the promotion of evidence-based policymaking
