MEA Research Featured Internationally: “Elevating Tsaatan Voices” Published on EvalParticipativa

The Mongolian Evaluation Association (MEA) is pleased to share that our work on advancing and supporting Indigenous Evaluation in Mongolia has been featured as an article on EvalParticipativa, an international platform for participatory and inclusive evaluation.

The article, Elevating Tsaatan Voices: Sowing the Seeds of Evaluation in Mongolia,” presents the findings of our recent participatory evaluation work with the Tsaatan Indigenous community and highlights MEA’s efforts to promote culturally grounded, community-centered evaluation approaches.

EvalParticipativa is a global Community of Practice and Learning in Participatory Evaluation and Inclusive Approaches. It is a joint initiative between PETAS (Research Program on Employment, Environment and Society) at the National University of San Juan (Argentina) and the German Institute for Development Evaluation (DEval).

MEA sincerely thanks EvalParticipativa and its partners for providing a platform that amplifies participatory and Indigenous evaluation work from diverse contexts. We are also thankful for our research team members Oyuntulkhuur, Gereltsetseg, Azjargal and Itgemjit.  We look forward to continued engagement with global evaluation communities in advancing equity, inclusion, and Indigenous-led evaluation practices.
