World Evaluation Case Competition 2022
Big thanks to our team (our student young evaluators and coaches) who participated for the World Evaluation Case Competition 2022. It was the first great challenge for Mongolian young evaluators.
This is the 3rd year of the world competition. The evaluation case competition provides students with a hands-on experience of program evaluation. Working within a fixed time-frame, teams of students analyze an evaluation case and prepare a report on their observations, conclusions and recommendations. A panel of judges rates the teams’ submissions, declares a winner, and provides feedback to all participants.
Case competitions help build evaluation capacity. Experiencing the intellectual challenge and excitement of completing an evaluation project in less than a day gives the students an appreciation of evaluation that will be useful in any future career. Some participants will go on to become professional evaluators.
