Webinar: Participatory Evaluation for Climate Resilience
Join us on June 5 at 3PM Ulaanbaatar time (GMT+8) for a thought-provoking webinar as part of #Glocal Evaluation Week 2025, held under the global theme "Evaluation for a Better Future: Environmental Sustainability, Inclusion, and Peace". #Glocal is convened and supported by the Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI).
Webinar Title: Participatory Evaluation for Climate Resilience
While global climate efforts have largely focused on mitigation, adaptation interventions—especially in vulnerable rural and urban areas—remains underfunded and under-evaluated. This session explores how participatory and community-led evaluation can help close this gap by:
Generating localized, actionable data
Informing tailored climate adaptation strategies
Promoting transparency and inclusivity in climate governance
Drawing on experiences from government, academia, and civil society in Mongolia, the webinar will explore how including affected communities in the scope of projects (including monitoring and evaluation) and integrating local knowledge into evaluation systems can enhance the effectiveness and equity of national climate responses.
Save the date and be part of the conversation on advancing climate resilience through inclusive evaluation!
